Tommy Lee Kidd was a part of the Tennessee disability advocacy delegation chosen to attend the National Disability Policy Seminar in Washington D.C from April 23rd through April 25th.  The three day seminar consisted of two days of classes to prepare all advocates for face-to-face meetings with Senators and Congressman at their offices on Capitol Hill.  The seminar drew disability advocates from 48 states with approximately 700 people attending.  Tommy Lee was appointed by Governor Phil Bredesen in 2009 to serve on the Tennessee Council on Developmental Disabilities.  In 2011, Tommy Lee accepted the position of Legislative Chairman to the Council and has just been re-appointed by Governor Bill Haslam for a second 3 year term.

Current Project

Abigail's Plan is striving to build a totally rubberized baseball field for our players with disabilities similar to the field pictured above. The approximate cost of the field is $350,000.  Our goal is for Lawrence County to have the first Miracle League rubberized field in Tennessee!!!

The Abigail's Plan organization is made up entirely of volunteers.
100% of the proceeds raised go directly into
funding our projects and fundraising efforts.
